Where capability meets reality
I grew up on a cattle property where work, responsibility and getting on with the job were simply part of life. That upbringing taught me independence, resilience and the value of contribution. It also made working hard feel very normal.
Over the years, my world has included business, property, coaching, community building, speaking and creating opportunities for people to connect. I've built things, changed direction, taken risks, carried too much myself and learned — sometimes the hard way — that capability can become a trap when it convinces you that you should be able to do everything alone.
That experience shapes the way I work now.
